What's On

Summer Schools

Whether you are looking for somewhere to keep the children occupied and maybe teach them a new skill or help them brush up on a tricky subject, or they have a particular talent you’d like them to pursue, there’s a Holiday School out there for you. Here’s a selection of our favourites, from avant-garde music to creating your own cartoon.

Henry Lamb Summer Camp

Former teacher Henry Lamb runs a Residential Camp in France for children between the ages of 10-13. Set in the heart of Provence, the course provides a balanced programme by combining the study of foreign languages with sport. In the mornings children brush up on their French and are encouraged to try French food, converse with locals and take part in events conducted purely in French. All teachers are French natives and are specially selected from the Cothill Educational Trust. Afternoons are spent honing their tennis skills on clay courts, with each session covering a different stroke and including an hour of match play. An unusual break away that promises not only to be great fun, but will also develop valuable life skills. Book early as places are limited to just 14 a week.

Price: Full course for £1,375.
